About Me

Bridging software development, networking, and cloud systems with a pragmatic, hands-on engineering mindset.

I am an Information Technology student at De La Salle University - Manila, building practical experience across full-stack web engineering, cloud computing, and enterprise network design. My work spans architecting secure multi-site WAN topologies, building AI-assisted manufacturing dashboards, and crafting human-centered UI/UX systems.

I am currently leading development on an AI-assisted defect detection platform for shoe manufacturing. The system bridges YOLO object detection with a Laravel web platform, implementing role-based dashboards for quality inspectors, line managers, and plant administrators alongside automated ingestion APIs protected by Laravel Sanctum.

Beyond software, I focus on what makes systems secure and resilient underneath: enterprise routing, site-to-site VPN tunnels, access control lists, and cloud provisioning on AWS. I enjoy projects that connect the full technical pipeline—from low-level network topology to cloud services to the final user interface.

CASE 01 Web & Computer Vision Engineering Jan 2026 – Present

AI System for Quality Inspection

AI-assisted defect detection system for footwear manufacturing, fusing YOLO computer vision inference with a full-stack Laravel management platform.

The Challenge

Manual shoe defect inspection on factory assembly lines is prone to fatigue and inconsistent quality reporting across shifts.

Engineered Solution & My Role

Built the central web platform with Laravel and MySQL. Developed role-based workflows for Quality Inspectors, Plant Managers, Admins, and Shoe Constructors. Built a token-secured REST API with Laravel Sanctum to ingest real-time YOLO defect annotations (stitch misalignment, adhesive overflow, sole defects).

AnimoTech Inc. Enterprise WAN Design

Multi-site corporate network simulation connecting Manila Headquarters, BGC Tech Hub, and Laguna Branch via encrypted IPSec Site-to-Site VPN tunnels.

The Challenge

Connecting three geographically distinct commercial sites with diverse subnets, stringent department isolation, and secure cross-branch communication.

Engineered Solution & My Role

Architected complete Cisco Packet Tracer topologies. Configured static & dynamic routing, IPSec Site-to-Site VPN encryption over WAN links, VLAN segmentations, and Standard/Extended Access Control Lists (ACLs) for departmental policy enforcement. Authored comprehensive network documentation including IP addressing schemas and security matrices.

CASE 03 Human-Computer Interaction & UI/UX Term 2 AY 2024–2025

Discord Interface Redesign & Prototyping

Comprehensive UX audit and high-fidelity redesign of Discord's desktop application, restructuring channel hierarchies, active voice feeds, and discovery navigation.

The Challenge

Discord's desktop UI suffers from density fatigue, cluttered server sidebars, and confusing separation between direct messages and public community rooms for casual users.

Engineered Solution & My Role

Conducted heuristic evaluation and created interactive component libraries in Figma. Modernized visual hierarchy with calibrated micro-contrast, unified notification badges, streamlined voice channel presence, and built an interactive prototype for usability feedback.
